Hello! Welcome back! Here is what I have been up to this past week.

Monday

-I am currently listening to The Things We Cannot Say on Amazon Audible. It was a little slow for me at first but I am sticking it out.It is turning out pretty good. It has 2 different stories that our connected. One set in WWII and the other more modern times.I’ve got about 9 hrs left on it. By the way, Amazon has a book sale going on right now.If you can get your books delivered quickly from Amazon, there are plenty of great Father’s Day books included in the sale! If not there is still plenty of great books including, The Things We Cannot Say!

-My girls listed a new color page and dropped off about 5 notepad orders at the post office today. All the same design!

I have a couple of kiddos that are kinda getting into Pokemon as of late.Takes me back to when one of my adult sons was into it a long time ago. Sweet memories:)Love you son!

Wednesday

-Today is Flag Day! We had several fun little projects going on. We had color sheets, a sensory rice bin, a Flag Windsock, and then finished up just painting some flag sheets and hanging out.

I have a couple little ones that LOVE scavenger hunts, so I got one of those going and they have until the 4th of July to find them all!

I will leave as many links as I can! We also made 7up Floats that were yummmmyyyy!

Friday

-Our baby is as big as a spaghetti squash! I am currently 26 weeks and feeling pretty good. Nothing new to complain about!

-I got my zucchini planted today. Well, I should say more planted. I already had some good plots going. Also got my Rhubarb in the ground! I love rhubarb pie, takes me back to my grandmother’s house growing up. It was so yummy!

-We painted with chalk today outside. If you haven’t done that yet, you should! Kids love it and it turns out so pretty and bright! When we came in from playing out front we had a baked potato bar, fresh corn on the cob….yum…. and a fresh salad! Such a simple filling dinner.

Saturday

-This morning I whipped together the ingredients in my crock pot for Pumpkin Pie Pudding.Just gonna let that set all day and cook and make my house smell amazing….Yes I know that pumpkin anything is a fall thing but we love it all so much that we make these recipes year around! Pumpkin Pudding,Pudding Bread, you name it. Also during naptime I made chocolate chip cookies…yum

-Tomorrow is Father’s Day! So I know the older kiddos have some things they are working on and for the littles we also have some activities in the works! On a side note my husband got called out for work this morning so he wont be back till Monday. But thats ok! He has that day off and I think we will grill out and celebrate Father’s Day on Monday instead.

-This evening the weather was really nice,so we took all our guinea pig’s outside and the hutch and other cages. Washed the cages like brand new and cleaned up real nice, while the guinea’s played in the grass. It’s so nice to do that in the spring and make them not smell like animal.Went ahead and just had a picnic style lunch outside while the kiddos played in the yard.Stayed out late, then we brought all kiddos and piggies back in the house, gave bath’s to the littles and put everyone to bed.It was a nice evening.Oh yeah and the Pumpkin Pie Pudding tasted just like a pie, just without the crust. It was yummy!

We have some Guinea Pig Videos up on our channel if you want to see our Internet Stars!

Sunday

Happy Father’s Day!

-I saw some great books that I want to add to my waiting list that I got from MSM.I always check out her recommendations and most of the time end up reading them. Here’s just a few of those:

We Were The Lucky Ones

The Whole Brain Child

Waymaker

The Last Bookshop in London

The Masterpiece

Let me know if you have read any of these books and if you liked them or not! Also do you have a book that I should read?

-I didn’t get to knit at all this week! I have this blanket I am working on but forgot to roll the ball before I started.Soooooo now I am close to the end and my yarn is all knotted up.Everytime I take it outside this week all I get to do is unknot the silly thing.I knew better than to do that…Oh Well. I want to finish this blanket because I have got baby booties to make!!

-Today we painted with different size outdoor balls. We wrote We Love You on paper with tape. Then we took different colors of paint and ran the balls we found through the paint and across our paper.Once they were dry we carefully pulled the paint off to reveal the letters. What a colorful activity! Including our yard, lol. This was alot of fun for the kiddos and a wonderful keepsake as well! When they were dry we hung them up as Father’s Day Banner’s when we decorated for tomorrow. My husband should be back from work by then and we will celebrate tomorrow! Alot of our paint came from Hobby Lobby and Walmart. The Paper is from Melissa & Doug.(Which was actually for our easel, but is to small I think for it, so I use it for other painting projects. Its a great white, good quality paper.

How did your Father’s Day Weekend go?Hope it was wonderful!
